Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to lead the
month-end close process and ensure financial statement
accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the month-end close process, including journal
entries and account reconciliations
Perform variance analysis for revenue and operating expenses and
assist in financial reporting
Lead sales tax reporting, assist with audits, and provide direction
to Accounting Specialists
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5-7 years of accounting experience
Strong accounting skills with knowledge of GAAP and internal
controls
Experience with accounting in an advertising/marketing agency is a
plus
Experience with Workamajig accounting software is a plus
