for Weekend Double Shifts:Candidates must work consecutive weekend
double shifts to qualify for the Baylor Program6:00 am - 2:00 pm &
2:00 pm - 11:00 pmPay, Benefits and Perks of Certified Medication
Aide (CMA):$3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying
candidate!Baylor Pay - Work 32 hours and get paid for 40 hoursShift

Functions of Certified Medication Aide (CMA):Performs resident care
responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort
consistent with Company Clinical Policies and Procedures as well as
state/federal guidelines and regulationsAdministers medications as
ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse,
in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent
with center policyMust demonstrate knowledge of "five rights" of
medication administrationAdministers and records all medication
given to residents based upon their specific chartNotifies
appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.May
take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be
required by certain medicationsRecords the administration of
medications and/or treatments appropriately, utilizing the computer
system to enter and reference resident information as neededAnswers
resident call lights, anticipates resident's needs and makes rounds
to assigned resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse or
charge nurse on the shiftObserves for and reports any reactions
and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the
appropriate shiftPerforms all aspects of resident care in an
environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the
likelihood of medical/health care errorsSupport and maintains a
culture of safety and qualityAdministers PRN medications in
accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with
center policyReports and when appropriate, records any changes
observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual
incidentsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications of
Certified Medication Aide (CMA):High School diploma or general
equivalency is preferredMust pass a state-issued examRequired valid
certification as a CMA in the state of OklahomaSix months
experience in a long-term care environment is preferredCandidates
must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer
communication.Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency
situationsAbility to communicate effectively with residents and
their family members, and facility staffAble to communicate
effectively in English, both verbally and in writingAdditional
