• Ascension Profile, Ascension 2 Professional References, Ascension Education Verification and other professional verifications required for submission or onboarding where specified.
  • Job Requirements
  • Must be AHA BLS Certified.
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
  • Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RN's and LPN/LVNs.
  • Nursys should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.
  • Completed Ascension Color Vision prior to start and updated every 3 years.
  • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics required.
  • Ascension EKG Exam with a minimum score of 90% or higher with only 2 attempts.
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation needed and completed prior to start.
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding done onsite.
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip to be completed and instructions found in Document Library.

        • Influenza Vaccine required annually, starting Sept 4th, 2023 for new travelers.
        • Tdap valid for 10 years from the administered date.
        • Varicella vaccines, serological evidence of immunity, or verification of a history of varicella or herpes zoster (shingles) by a healthcare provider required; titers if no proof of immunity.
        • Ascension Criminal Background Check Results within 30 days of first assignment and updated annually.
        • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to the start and updated annually.
